Remembering David Alexander III

Today we honor and remember David L. Alexander III, who earned his angel wings two years ago after a courageous battle with chondroblastic osteosarcoma.

David was many things- a beloved son, a remarkable big brother, a valuable teammate, and a true friend. He could make anyone laugh, and left an impact on all who were lucky enough to know him.

David's legacy lives on at the lacrosse field, where he shined as a star athlete and was known for his positivity and resilience. David was a beloved member of multiple lacrosse teams including SVYL Vipers, Handley Lacrosse, Hammers Lacrosse (Team Virginia Lacrosse) and the Atlanta Kings National Team.

In the words of his parents:

"Although David’s life was short, his impact was greater than most. At only seventeen years old, he understood that the quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you live..... His smile could melt your heart and his hugs would mend your soul."

Please join us in sending love to David's family and loved ones. #playfordave
