Make a Difference for Families in Need

Volunteer opportunities are spread out throughout the year and generally revolve around the stay of our guests. Volunteers will be contacted via email when opportunities are available.

• Reset/Cleaning Volunteer Team: Help prepare The Alyssa House for new guests. Great care is taken to clean carefully, to help minimize germ exposure for our fragile guests. Reset volunteers also help with seasonal gardening and beautifying our grounds.
  
  

• Laundry Volunteer Team: Our laundry volunteers work quietly behind the scenes, laundering towels and linens for families. Laundry is done in-between each guest. Great for volunteers who want to work at their own pace.
  
  

•  Special Events/ Fundraisers Volunteer Team: Support and share The Alyssa House mission. The Alyssa House participates in fundraisers and special events throughout the year and the Charlottesville community.
