#GoGold for Childhood Cancer
Today marks the start of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Today, 47 kids in the United States will be told they have cancer. 47 families will have their lives forever changed. Cancer is still the #1 cause of death by disease among children in the U.S.
Despite this, childhood cancer research is vastly underfunded. Less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute budget goes towards childhood cancers. Statistics like this won't change without your help.
#GoGold in September (the color for childhood cancer), spread the word about pediatric cancers, and help be a voice for children fighting for their lives.
The following resources help fund lifesaving childhood cancer research and raise awareness:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation, MIB Agents, St. Baldrick's Foundation
